"Let's Just Make a Dope Mural that Inspires Our Community"
Green Scheme, #Don'tMuteMyHealth & Bread for the City are non-profits focused on giving a voice to residents in DC's poorest communities.
In Washington, DC, the neighborhood where you’re raised determines where you go to school, what you can eat, and what health care resources you can access.
We are creating a mural for DC residents city-wide, but with a focus in wards 5, 7, and 8, where obesity has become an epidemic. We want to educate a community in the heart of our nation's capital that will help thousands of residents be inspired to live healthier lives.
Your support of this mural will not only uplift a community, but change the lives of those that need it the most.
As a small token of thanks, I promise to send you a poster of the finished mural as a reminder of what you helped bring to life. The next time you visit our Nation's Capital, you will be able to see mural that beautifies an underserved but well-deserved community - - all thanks to your support. And I promise that, donation or not, this Ward 7 & 8 mural will be absolutely #dope.
